It’s probably an auto (could you get Manuel on an E34 touring in the US? I don’t remember). A little nicer condition than the E36 I posted a few minutes back.

Old Car Talk joke: What’s the first mention of a car in the Bible?
In Genesis: “and he drove them out in his Fury.”
And yes, I think you could get that wagon in the US w/ a manual.

I just checked over at Bimmerforums, and apparently only two E34 Touring models were sold in the US, 525i and 530i, and neither came with Manuel :(

I generally don’t like lowering the rear of the E34 (camber issues and the wheel tucked under the fender, plus I like a little rake - see the pictures of my E34 posted around here somewhere[ http://oppositelock.kinja.com/found-a-pic-of… ]), but I’ll take one of these no problem.

Stock E39 540i wheels, actually. Not hub-centric, but I don’t recall having any problems with them because of this.
E34s are currently one of the great BMW bargains on the market right now. Old enough to be just a used car and not a classic, simple enough to work on, and generally equipped nicely enough to where you feel like you’re in a luxury car. That being said, my base model Mazda5 6MT is probably better equipped than the E34 - amazing how times change...

Oooh I know. I’ve had my eye on some stuff. Got a new job starting in a few weeks so maybe it’ll be time to finally buy something to play with.

I set in motion a plan for new wheels in the next 4-6 months (it really does take that long to search sometimes), exciting isn’t it! What type of work is the new gig?
